Bolt Action: US Army Tanks - M26 Pershing heavy tank

The M26 Pershing was the first truly heavy tank to see service in the American army, designed to replace the M4 Sherman. Named after John J. Pershing, a capable American general during WWI, only a few would see active service during WWII, but many more would be on the front lines of the Korean War.
 
Featuring thick armour and a powerful 90mm main gun, the M26 is a great choice for a late-war American Armoured Platoon, capable of blasting apart enemy armour and infantry with ease. Its thick armour makes it a tough nut to crack, and makes it a great centrepiece to build your force around. If you want a truly terrifying Armoured Platoon, consider deploying two or even three, and let the table shake to the rumble of their treads!
 
This vehicle can also be used in games of Achtung Panzer!, the game of close-quarters tank-on-tank combat, where it makes a perfect opponent for the toughest of German ‘big cats’. Full rules can be found in the Achtung Panzer! rulebook.
